**This skin was made for v. 6 and up**Instructions:
included in the zip file is a folder named Teck_byNiKY, unzip this folder to Yahoo\Shared\Graphics .. do not create another folder or the skin will not show up in your preferences. note me for any problems.
also.. if you would like the additional icons, that are not included in the skin file, then note me and i'll email them to you
*note: some lettering in this skin is still black, and with a black background that means you won't see who's singing in and out of messenger.. i'll attempt to fix this feature at a later date.. if any one of you knows how i might fix this, please feel free to note me n help a girl out

you'll need an unzipping program like [link]
they have a trial version you can use
open the file, inside is a folder, go up to extract, choose the path by clicking on the folder names:
C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Shared\Graphics
or you may just copy and paste this into the top bar
click ok and it should put the folder in the right place
open your messenger and go to the top bar and choose File, preferences, appearance.. then click the button for change skin
it should be in that list..

I like this. I will say this, though, that white is pretty bright when you're sitting in a dark room. Lol. I tried making one for myself once. It really didn't work. I think it was because of the colors I chose. Which was pink with black. Either that or my computer's color blind. Anyway.. I downloaded this. I'll be using it for awhile. (So much better than the regular Yahoo skins!)
Oh, and the lettering thing; I've downloaded other skins and they have the black lettering, too. I don't really think it is possible to change it. Which is why you only have people you know and talk to on your list! Lol. ~.^

i noticed the same thing about the white
and it's not so much people complaining about who's coming on and offline.. i guess in chat forums the users don't show up when they're speaking in voice chat
but the skin wasn't for me and i don't use voice chat, so oh well
