One of the problems that brought about whether I was stagnating or not was our teacher wanting our triceratops character to feel more animal-like. My previous attempts gave the impression it was just a cartoon man in a dino mask. We played around with shoulder and leg placement, referencing everything form actual animals, dino skeletons, and a lot of Kung Fu Panda to see how they got away with it.
