Cheeck/Jaw was burnt from another SandWing's fire, as well as a few other scars and self-inflicted cuts on forearms.
Powers: Can breathe fire, although it appears a bit dark in color. Very quick and efficient agility/speed wise, strength however is quite low.

Merciful
Copper, despite his quiet and seemingly dull nature, is always one to choose the peaceful way out of any situation. He has never been fond of violence, and being a victim of it himself, is very understanding when it comes to such things. Although he is not nessicarily forgiving, he wouldn't dare harm another dragon.

Knowledgable
Although he specializes in medical care, Copper has knowledge about many other topics. He picks things up very easily, and whatever he learns will almost always stay with him. Not only that, but he tends to think in a very wide perspective, which only helps him even more.

Loyal
Once he trusts you enough, Copper will never leave your side. His ear is always open, and will never decline to listening to your problems. In fact, he makes sure that he gives good advice as well. Making his friends happy and safe is a top priority for Copper.

Calm
Being calm may seem like a good thing, and it usually is for Copper. He knows how to keep his cool, even when he's arguing with someone who's being unrealisitc. However, he also tends to bottle up his emotions. This causes him to feel alone and depressed. And, as we all know, every bottle has it's breaking point... Which has never ended well for Copper.

Self-Concious
It's good to be aware of who and what is around you, but there's always a limit. Copper is very alert, and can sense when he is doing something that makes someone else uncomfortable. This is both good and bad. Good in the sense that it makes others look up to and respect him, however also comes to a downfall when he focusues more on another than he should.

Secretive
Copper has always had a difficult time sharing things with others. It's very rare to hear him venting to another, sharing stories about his life, or even just telling simple facts about himself. He has a fear of being judged, betrayed, or abandoned. He sometimes goes by the saying, "Others can't hurt you if they don't know anything."

Insecure
Some dragons with scars usually don't mind them, or are even proud of them. Copper is the exact opposite. He won't go anywhere or speak to anyone without his gear and clean bandages. When someone asks about it, he gets nervous and avoids the question.

Depresssed
Depression has been stuck with Copper for as long as he could remember. He still has (both physical and mental) scars from it. Although it's gotten better recently, the feeling of sorrow will always linger with him.

Distrustful
Trust has always been a huge issue for Copper. He's very wary of other dragons that he doesn't know. If you do gain it from him, you must make sure to keep it. Otherwise, it's most likely he won't trust you again (or at least not as much as he once did).

- Hatchling (0-4 years) -
Copper was hatched into a normal, every-day family. His mother, Raven, was a gentle and caring RainWing/NightWing hybrid. Scorch, his SandWing father, had always seemed a bit distant, but was fun to be around nonetheless. And then he had his older sister, Leopard. She and Copper were very close to eachother. The younger hybrid had always admired her beauty and kindness, and often pretended to be her. Their bond was unbreakable. Leopard taught him how to draw, paint, swim, play the drums, and many more of his current hobbies.

- Dragonet (5-7 years) -
All was well in Copper's small family for the first five years of his life. However, as soon as he turned six, things began to change. He began to hear his parents arguing more frequently, and sometimes even caught his name being said in these fights. This made him scared at night, for some reason, and unable to sleep. Luckily, Leopard was there to sing and calm him down. Eventually, Copper grew used to the fighting. But then, something else strange came up. He had this odd feeling of sadness, and it seemed to go with him wherever he went. The young dragonet deperatley wanted to talk to his sister about it, but for whatever reason, he couldn't. After another six months, his parent's arguing got more intense. Leopard had told him to never interfere with it, but... One night, it got to a point where Copper was crying from the constant screaming and yelling. His curiosity got the best of him. As soon as he calmed himself down, Copper creeped out of his bed and into the living room. What he saw was something that he would never forget. Raven was collasped on the ground, sobbing, with a deep cut on her cheek. It was too late when he realized that it was done by his father, who had already noticed him. At only six years old, he didn't know what to do when Scorch began yelling and calling him awful names. His sister immediately took him up to his room. But, to his surprise, instead of a lecture, Leopard just hugged him and cried. It didn't take long before they were both sobbing. Copper knew that things would never be the same.

- Juvenile (8-12 years) -
After that incident, things only got worse. At first, Scorch would only yell and insult Copper. Then, when he turned nine, his father began to get physical. It started out with slaps and scratches, but eventually led to punching, kicking, and even fire. Leopard took most of the hits, and taught her brother the basics of medical care so he could heal himself. Due to their father's abuse, it became almost a daily thing. Copper started finding an interest in medics, however, and sometimes snuck out to heal injured animals. If they were already dead, he would disect them to learn more about anatomy. He continued to do this for a long time, despite what his father would do if he found out. But the main thing that kept Copper going was his sister. He knew that without her, he would have already perished. He never imagined when he would lose her. That was, until one night. Copper was now a few months over ten when his life permanately changed. He and Leopard were out on a midnight stroll; Scorch was asleep which gave them the chance to take a short walk. Everything was going fine, until Copper suddenly heard his sister scream. He turned around just in time to see another dragon tackle Leopard and stab her stomach. Both terrified and blinded by rage, he launched himself towards the figure. There was a burning sensation in his jaw, but in the moment, Copper couldn't care less. Although he wasn't that strong, his speed and agility made up for that. After some time of fighting, Copper had finally managed to kill what turned out to be a SandWing. He immediately rushed over to his sister. He tried his best to heal her, but deep down, he knew there was no hope. Her last words were, "Please... Never give up on yourself. I love you so much... I want you to live life to it's fullest. You have so much, so please, I'm begging you, don't let it go to waste. Thank you for everything, Copper... Don't forget me, okay?" Copper shed many tears and gave her a proper burial before returning to his own home. He knew that with Leopard, he wouldn't be able to stay with his father. That night, he and his mother packed up all their belongings and nesessities. Together, they fled from their home.

- Adult (13-20) -
The two lived with eachother in a small town for a few years. It was difficult on them, especially for Copper. His sister's words were the only thing that kept him going, however depression still got the best of him. He began to self-harm, which lasted for a while. Raven eventually found out, and did her best to help him through it. She knew of her son's talent for medics, and to help them get money, started advertising. Although many dragons in the town had their doubts about the scarred hybrid, those quickly vanished once they went to his clinic and came out with a smile. Copper made quite a fortune from this, and eventually began travelling to other towns to treat other dragons. During one of his travels, he ran into who is now one of is best friends, Jewel. The RainWing/SkyWing hybrid, much like Copper, was a doctor, and after a few meet-ups, they agreed to start working together. Jewel quickly became like a sister to the other. She even sewed him a mouthguard and hood, as she knew his insecurities about the large scar on his cheek. Now, he never goes anywhere without those two items.

- Now (21) -
Copper, now twenty-one years old, has decided to move to the well-known Scorpion Den. He knows that there's some risk going there, but is willing to take it. Well, it was more of Jewel's idea, as she was the one who wanted him to socialize more. But nonetheless, he hopes that he'll make friends there and continue to persue his career.
