Samuel B. Roberts engaging the enemy, all gun blazings. I'm starting to have a consistent color palette, really satisfied with the overall tone. I'm mostly happy with the impressive gun flashes who took me a bit too much time to render right (I think) I like the smoke/clouds and once again shading is still my favorite part. Not convinced with the little Chads running around deck, but hey.

During the battle of Samar, Samuel B. Roberts will break her top speed by 5knots, reaching 28. She will also counterattack against the japanese main body (consisting of heavy cruisers and battleships) firing over 600 rounds (including star shells) at close range against the heavy cruiser Chikuma, ruining her bridge. She is also credited with a crippling torpedo hit against the heavy cruiser Chokai. She would be sunk later that day by the battleship Kongo. A rather impressive feat earning her a battle star and the rather awesome reputation of "The destroyer escort who fought like a battleship"
