Confetti wasn't sure where he stood on whether or not Quetzal was responsible for this somehow, but... doesn't hurt to check right?
It might. because they are not very good at spying. He and Chica were sort of just standing nearby to keep watch and Chica was practicing magic when Quetzal stuck his head out the window and Confetti had to very quickly hide both of them around the corner, as well as make sure he didn't get burned by Chica beacuse that would leave a trace.
