So basically the main villain the the latest Paper Mario game, King Olly, seems to be a manifestation of the Paper Mario fanbase's insanity because of how much he HATES the flood of generic Toads in newer Paper Mario games, and wants to kill them all. Reminds me of when Mario fans during the early 2000s, kept demanding Nintendo to bring back the Koopalings after being replaced by the generic Bowser Jr. (which they thankfully did, as of New Super Mario Bros.
