Though I'm in the crunch of getting ready for this weekend's convention I managed to slide this little baby out.I like the concept of re-inventing classic legends like death, werewolves, ghosts, and stuff. And with all the "Twilight" floating around I decided to do a design of what I'd draw a vampire like in one of my stories. I wanted to give her the feeling of looking human yet something being "off" about her apperance.
Her full name is Camilla Cinna Lepidus, due to her being born in Roman Times. Needless to say she is hundreds upon hundreds of years old. Its unknown when she was "bitten" but I imagine she likes to go on and on about her "Curvy womanly figure" when she in truth looks like a 5ft tall boy. Of course given the faces to the right, she can be scary when she wants to be.
She currently resides in France (as if that wasn't obvious). Also she pencils that beauty mark on.

being a vampire lover myself, I get so damn sick of people just talking and raving about how hot Edward is or how much they love Jacob, and the artists in that bunch all too often make vampires just look like pale humans who sparkle. But am I glad some people still remember a time when vampires were simply cool because they had this mysterious, creepy and frightening feel to them. Thank the fucking lord there are artists like you, and don't stop drawing!

dracula wasn't known for good looks, but he was one hell of a vampire ( yes i realize he's fictional, but he was based on a wallachian prince~) Now you have dumb ass little ultra preppy school girls worshiping Edward Cullen and shit. It's a crying shame when shit like this gets too damn popular, and it's great to see people who don't follow shit just because it's the biggest thing out.

Well, gee, your character reminds of [insert supposedly famous character name here]! That annoying pet peeve aside, seriously though, I like this design! The hair, the eyes, the suit, the beauty mark, the cig, the expressions, and stance all convey a lot about her character without saying a word! Would love to see her in action!

I really like this style of character. Even exaggerated and out of proportion, the face can still give off a certain beauty and a seductive side as well. Your screentone work is especially top notch in these sketches. Keep it up!

She kinda remind's me of the spider from James and the Giant Peach! I like her, she looks so- so French looking! I hear a really snooty French accent coming from her, great touch with the pencilled on beauty mark by the way! Cullen ain't got nuthin' on her.
