It was nighttime in the military compound, Army Soldier TP was getting ready for bed in his quarters for his annual war games which is really early at morning.

"Stay calm, you can do this." He said to himself, "Just do what's best."

He got into bed, turned off the lamp and shut his eyes. Then, after 4 seconds of silence, the lamp turned back on, he woke up and cracked.

"I can't do this! I JUST CAN'T!" Army Soldier TP denied, "SO NERVOUS!"

He breathed heavily until he got a glass of water from the sink, sipped some of it and splashed his face with it.

"Alright, just calm down." He said to himself. "There's nothing to worry about."

He got back into his covers and adjusted himself to be more comfortable.

"What's the worse that can happen?" He wondered.

********

In the morning at 5AM, Army Soldier TP, now dressed in his uniform, was already marching with his troops who are identical to him. He was speaking to himself to make himself feel better.

"OK. This war game's gonna be simple." Army Solider TP said to himself. "Nothing major, no nuclear bombs or any terrorists around."

"EYES, RIGHT!" The drill sergeant commanded.

The troops did so right away whilst marching. There stood from the large balcony is TP Percival with his eldest son who is about 16 with short brown hair and eyes who has the spitting image of his father. His name is Michael Percival. Next to TP is General TP and his two bodyguards.

"Imagine it, son." TP said to Michael, smiling proudly. "This is where you watch your finest troops off to war."

"Father, I don't think I'm ready to do this, yet." Michael told his father.

"In time, you will be. In time." TP reassured him, before turning to General TP. "You did a fine job with your troops."

"Ah, thanks, your majesty." General TP chuckled.

"General TP!" Army Soldier TP called from the troops, "Hey, it's me! Could you reschedule my duty? Hello? Can you hear me?"

His calls were faint, General TP hardly heard him, neither did TP or his son.

"I think he's just excited." General TP said to TP.

"Ah." TP said, "Time to head back with my guards, son. I have some announcements to make."

"Yes, father." Michael replied, before he was escorted by TP's bodyguards.

"EYES, FRONT!" The drill sergeant commanded, and the troops did so. But Army Soldier TP was still confused and anxious.

"This is going too far." Army Soldier TP thought out loud, "I'm going back to write my resign-"

"COMPANY HALT!" The drill sergeant commanded, cutting off Army Soldier TP's thought, and the troops immediately came to a halt.

General TP is exiting the balcony as TP came over to whisper to him.

"Let's hope they can win." TP whispered.

"Same here." General TP whispered back.

"General TP?" Army Soldier TP asked, hesitantly, "Anyone there?"

"Quiet there! Get back in rank!" An lance corporal ordered.

Then, an identical soldier shoved Army Soldier TP back to his spot so he can ask him a question. The soldier had a helmet on his head and has a goatee.

"You new, kid?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm new. Just the war game is advanced." Army Soldier TP replied, "A bit like the theory test."

The goatee soldier chuckled, "Theory test, that's a good one. You'll do fine out there."

"Thanks." Army Soldier TP sighed.

"RIGHT FACE!" The drill sergeant commanded, as the troops all turned individually to the right, except for the unsure Army Soldier TP.

"Psst." He whispered, turning his head slightly.

"Oh, right." Army Soldier TP breathed, as he quickly got into position.

TP went up to the balcony, holding the gold trident in his hand. Army Soldier TP stared with anxiety as TP holds the trident with both hands.

"Sacrifice." He began, as his voice echoes around, "To some, it is just a word. To others, it is a code."

"Ya know, I'm really bad at word games." Army Soldier TP whispered to the goatee soldier who snickered, quietly.

"An army soldier knows the life of an individual clone of myself doesn't matter." TP continued, "What matters most is for honor. And that soldier will train for honor, to live for honor, to fight for honor, to die for honor."

"This guy's mad." Army Soldier TP quietly remarked.

"Yeah, I hear ya." The goatee soldier chuckled.

"At 0800 hours, we received an telegram that the Sentinelese enemy has mobilized." TP announced, "This war game will not be easy as it seems, and I will show the reason why."

TP powers up his trident and magically illustrates what the enemy looks like on a large screen above him. It is a blood red silhouette of a tall man with a large spear.

"These are the most dangerous enemies to us all. Confused they may seem, but deadly to the modern. They have entered our country. We have no choice but to launch a preemptive strike. You are my finest troops, and I know you will all do your duties well. I am proud to send you all into battle. Good luck."

This only made Army Soldier's TP anxiety more worse.

"Into-- I'm sorry, into battle?" Army Soldier TP stammered.

"Dismissed." TP finished as he began walking away from the balcony.

"LEFT FACE!" The drill sergeant commanded as the troops turned individually to the left. "FORWARD, MARCH!"

The troops began marching towards the large open tunnel which slowly opens it large doors.

"Look, there's been some mistake." Army Soldier TP nervously told the goatee soldier, "The thing is, I've just came here for the simple war game."

"Don't worry, kid." The goatee soldier reassured him, "I'll look out for you."

Army Soldier TP smiled a bit, but unsure as the doors finished opening as the troops continued marching into the tunnel.

The soldiers kept marching through the tunnel.

"So, the Sentinelese, they're-" Army Soldier TP stuttered, "These guys aren't gonna come up with much of a fight? We're talking small pushovers, right?"

"Not really, kid." The goatee soldier responded, "They're five times our strength and they pierce spears through our chests."

Army Soldier TP gasped in shock, and froze briefly, but another soldier shoved him forward.

"Keep going, idiot." A soldier behind him snapped.

The troops have finished marching out of the tunnel into broad moonlight, very early that morning.

"Say, what exactly does our platoon do?" Army Soldier TP questioned, "I mean, will we be serving hot schmoes or processing documents?"

"Our platoon has the best assignment of them all." The goatee soldier replied, "We're the first into battle."

"Huh?" Army Soldier TP breathed, confused.

"Wait. These-- These guys sound like bruisers." Army Soldier TP said, "Just how are we beating them?"

"Superior numbers, kid." The goatee soldier replied, "Overwhelm their defenses and kill their leader."

"That's a little extreme, I feel. Why don't we try and influence their political process... with campaign contributions?"

"I like you, kid. You got a good sense of humor."

"FORWARD!" The captain commanded.

"Come on. Let's kick some Sentinelese ass." "The goatee soldier said, "Over the top!"

The troops began charging towards the Sentinelese bases, screaming and yelling.

Army Soldier TP stood and stared in disbelief, but started charging while screaming.

The troops arrived at the camps, but there was no sign of the Sentinelese tribe. A few soldiers murmured in concern, even Army Soldier TP felt that something is not right.

"Don't be scared, kid." The goatee soldier said to Army Soldier TP.

What they didn't know is a tribesman with tan copper skin, raven-black hair, chalky-white tattoo markings and a dirt-brown loincloth was hiding in a nearby tree. A soldier was preparing his gun, causing the hidden tribesman to charge out of the tree, screaming. The soldier turned in time for the tribesman to leap into him and pinned him to the ground. Everyone noticed this, and soon the Sentinelese came out with their spears.

"ATTACK!" The captain commanded.

The soldiers did so. They fired their rifles at the savages, killing them instantly. The more blood was drawn from the deafening blasts from their rifles, the more number of tribes-people coming out to attack. Army Soldier TP was prepared to shoot one down, when an tribesman was charging behind with a spear drawn out. He turned in time and gasped before aiming his gun at him. Before he can shoot, someone grabbed the man's spear and thrusts it through his heart. It was the goatee soldier.

"You- you saved my life!" Army Soldier TP said.

"Ah, don't mention it, kid." The goatee soldier replied, before he pull out the spear and stabbed an oncoming tribesman from the side.

Army Soldier TP looked around cautiously, until he saw a tribesman up a tree with a crossbow. With a second to none, Army Soldier TP fired a bullet at the warrior in the leg, causing him to fall out, grasping his injured leg. The other warrior ran to his aid, but Army Soldier TP came there first to finish him off. However, the brave warrior stopped him, and a struggle ensues. The warrior pushed Army Soldier TP backwards, causing him to trigger his gun by accident, shooting one of the tribesman in the shoulder. When Army Soldier TP got himself back on his feet, he realizes that he is screwed. He ran out of bullets and four of the tribesmen were charging towards him. Without hesitating, Army Soldier TP ran for his life, until he fell down a hole and a large rock fell on top of it. Not only does it seal off the four tribesmen, but it gives Army Soldier TP good protection. The dust caused the tribesmen to retreat, but Army Soldier TP was already coughing from underneath.

"Hey! Hey, guys! Anyone? Little help here?" Army Soldier TP called from underneath, muffled behind the fallen rock. "The goatee soldier? Where are you?"

***********

Morning came at 0900 hours. Twenty-seven of the Sentinelese were killed and only twenty-nine were severely injured. But that is not all, some of the soldiers were also severely injured as well, with five of them knocked out. Army Soldier TP had spent twenty minutes digging himself free from the hole and look around the battlefield. Around him were corpses of the Sentinelese, one of them was beheaded.

"Kid? Kid, over here!" The goatee soldier groaned, painfully. He was very seriously injured from the battle. His back, right arm and left leg was broken, his hips and left shoulder were dislocated badly and his right eye was really bruised.

"Good God! Are you...?" Army Soldier TP began.

"Be honest, kid. Is there emergency services coming?" The goatee soldier asked.

"Not that I know of." Army Soldier TP replied. "I just got myself free from a fallen rock."

"Let's face it. I'm a goner."

"No. Hang in, buddy. If only there... Wait, I can hear the sirens from the distance."

Right on cue, the volume of the sirens increase as the ambulances arrive and pull up. Army Soldier TP fainted as the goatee soldier sighed in relief.

***********

At the ready room, TP was tutoring his eldest son Michael basics of being a leader.

"A leader must be wise, resilient and mostly responsible." TP told Michael.

"Yes, father. I will be the best leader yet." Michael replied to his father, "I will show you that I'm the one."

"Don't you think you're bragging a bit too much, son?" TP questioned, "Your friends wouldn't go for you for that."

"Sorry."

"That's alright. I think you'd practice this with your friends to be more confident. But try not to overdo it."

"Yes, father."

Then, the doorbell chimed.

"If you excuse me." TP said, "Come."

The door opens and General TP came in.

"Ah, General. You're in time." TP said to General TP, "Off you go to school, son."

Michael left the ready room to attend school.

"Any news on the war game?" General TP asked.

"Not that I know of." TP replied.

Then, the doorbell chimed.

"One moment, come." TP said.

The door open to reveal a messenger.

"Your lordship, the war game was a success." He explained, "The enemy has been eventually destroyed."

"Thank God for that." General TP replied.

"Proceed." TP said.

"But it is also a disaster for the troops as well. All of them were severely injured." The messenger noted.

"I am so sorry for your men." TP consoled to General TP.

"There's no need to apologize. I didn't expect this as well." General TP replied.

"But there is good news." The messenger continued, "One soldier did make it back unharmed."

"No kidding?" TP asked, unexpectedly.

"Word is spreading around the military camps." The messenger finished. "That would be all."

"Dismissed." TP told the messenger, who leaves the ready room.

"I'll arrange a meeting with him." He informed General TP, before he left the ready room, himself.

*********

Within the corridors of the Council, TP finds Army Soldier TP with a security guard.

"Congratulations." TP praised to Army Soldier TP, before having another look at him. "Aren't you feeling OK there?"

"I feel fine." Army Soldier TP replied.

"Come with me, I surprised you came back without a scratch."

"Yeah, but what about the goatee soldier and the others?"

"They'll be taken care of. Don't worry about it. You've won the battle."

From the balcony, the crowd below were cheering for Army Soldier TP as he and TP approach the balcony.

"I didn't know I became famous." Army Soldier TP said.

"Well, now you know. Welcome home." TP replied.

The crowd cheered for the soldier as he waved to the crowd.

"I'm staying in the army." Army Soldier TP declared, now confident.

"You were nervous before the battle?" TP questioned.

"A little bit, though." Army Soldier TP replied.

"It's OK to be nervous. You weren't expecting the enemy, either."

"Yeah."

"Now let's go."

They begin to leave, before Army Soldier TP came back to give one last wave to the crowd as the cheered wildly before exiting the balcony.
