Page two, which features the part you were actually waiting for: the wrapping up. As you can see, Sapphire is capable of coherent thought now and again, but since it's in the "greater than" and "less than" signs like in other comics, it means it's not in English. That's because she can't speak any other human language, though she can understand ones she knew before. (Teaser!) I'm not sure if she's thinking in a spider language or just translated gibberish.

That gradual mummification in that last panels looked better in my head. Oh well.
