I had intended to have more canon comic pages ready by now - I'd really like to get on with the show in, but I'm distracted with such a myriad of things, progress is slow.Instead of filling this space with a bevy of excuses, though, I'll just note that I desperately wanted to update with -something- to start the month off with, so I'll offer up this mini-comic...since the umbra of morbid nonsense follows Viktor and Mordecai wherever they go. It must be pathological. The other guy probably should've taken the bus.
A -real- comic update and color cover art for the volume 1 print will be along soon...

**EDIT**
1) The 'mini-comics' are usually outside the regular timeline of the canon comics. Mordecai was a Lackadaisy alumnus - he and Viktor worked together under Atlas' employ before Mitzi took the reins.
Sorry about the confusion - I should've made that clear to start with here.
2) For those who have asked about the end...well, it's not -that- difficult to figure out what happened in-between the last two panels, is it?

It admittedly took me a moment to deduce the most likely actions between the last two panels. It's a draw between disposing the 'body' in the perfect place, or just kicking the hostage out. I vote for the first one, due to the looks on their faces in the cornfield.
ANYWAY. Now that we have that cleared up, great panel work and glorious humor. The detail and attention to it always makes my day. Feels like your making a film for us to see. Too wonderful. *taps chin* Mordecai seems to be a tad obsessive compulsive, perhaps? To mull over such a trivial thing when this man is in his last moments... it must be! XD *rofl* poor guy. They really are in their own little world - just routine.

My friend showed this to me the other day. I had to re read it about 6 times (the middle part, mostly) and laughed every time. Fantastic comic. I do love your characters XD

"kus vola! zabijem T'a!" Roughly translated from slovac means "You piece of shit! I'll kill you!"
although "Kus Vola!" doesn't actually mean "you piece of shit!", it's actual meaning is lost in translation.[something about being a piece of ox] ."you piece of shit!" is the closest in meaning.

I saw this first on the Lackadaisy website, but I couldn't quite pass up the chance to tell you how much I loved this one! Viktor and Mordecai have became my favorite characters in the Lackadaisy universe. Mordecai's facial expressions always spark a laugh. The contrast between the two (as well as the stark similaraties) make them a great pair (for disaster!). In any case, another wonderful job!

That "ASYMMETRY!" panel is so delightful. I love the stuff with Mordecai and Viktor. And I would really love to see them face off in a gun fight or something, because I'm not sure who would win, or if there would even be a winner at all. I just know it would be made of awesome.
