Hey! Long time no see I'm currently getting more and more into 3d Modeling and thought I'd give space art another spin! This is a very early take on a gas giant with a very pronounced ring system like you would find around saturn. My main focus with this piece will be the material properties of the rings (especially the sort of shimmer they have when light reflects off of them) and the atmospheric glow. The render is a bit rough around the edges but it'll get there!

Using it as a desktop wallpaper is perfectly fine! Please don't use it for anything else.

Rendered out in Autodesk Maya with Arnold. Final compositing was done in Photoshop CC.
