Character recommendation from a friend: Fran of Final Fantasy XII.

Nothing complicated process wise though it was unusual in the sense I used multiple layers to make drawing the hair and helmet/chest armor easier, which is really unusual for me... I usually just agonise on a single level for no reason. Was going to be more elaborate and stuff but I didn't have a lot of time, as it was I still spent several hours messing around. I could never quite get her face right, I shouldn't have done a front on shot but whatever, we learn these things.

Fran is one of the main crew in FFXII. When I first played FFXII back in the day I wasn't all that fond of her, I am not sure why. Recently playing through Zodiac Age though she was my white mage and I absolutely adored her. She has some of the best scenes in the game revolve around her, pretty much anything in her village is god tier. Her standing at the entrance trying to look stoic, maybe mumbling something to herself or in thanks to the forest was the basis of this image. Her design is really complicated btw, I have no idea what is going on with that head piece and finding clear references for her chest was way more effort than I had hoped.
