I saw this as a DD long ago and I don't why I didn't fav it then. I really love the colors, the shadowing, and the dusty look. So good!

Thank you all for the kind comments. This picture was produced with a self written program. The displayed set is a variant of the Mandelbox Set, found by Tom Lowe.
Like the Mandelbox, this variant contains some ugly chaotic regions and some interesting places. Another view of this Mandelbox variant is displayed in [link] . Here I explore a region with some honeycomb structures, but you also got an overview of the whole structure (which is a cuboid and not a cube as the Mandelbox).

I had to really look at this to see it as a fractle piece. Very original. It almost looks like some kind of lace scuplture photographed on a hand tatted lace back ground. Very unique.
