BACKSTORY
Ozone is a dragon who loves to fly, especially at night. He's been to many different worlds inhabited by a wide variety of creatures, ranging from humans, to dogs, to ponies, and even other dragons. Some worlds he's visited haven't had any life worth nothing, but he finds it calming and relaxing when he gets some peace and quiet.
He isn't sure where he came from, or if he has any parents. He hatched alone one day and was essentially forced to raise himself.

The years haven't been kind to him however, as some creatures either fled at the sight of him, or thought him to be a freak of nature and they did not know, nor care where he came from. They just wanted him gone, despite the fact that Ozone never did anything to warrant such treatment. So he often let it go and moved on. He had a hard time making friends because everyone seemed to hate him for some reason. Eventually he found out why.

It turns out that there was a prophecy saying a dragon would come one day to challenge a hero of legend to decide to fate of multiple worlds. Of course Ozone knew nothing about this, but he soon understood why everyone was so afraid of him. They must have seen him as the dragon coming to challenge the hero, but he knew nothing of any hero or a challenge, so he started to think that maybe it would be the hero who would challenge HIM. Again, he wasn't sure, but he did soon discover that he had a special talent: Mind control. He had heard about this ability, but was terrified of everything associated with it.

Yes, he could actually take control of another person's mind and body to get him/her to do exactly what he wanted, but he never wanted them to do anything.

He tried to leave the world, the city, and the hero behind, but he was forced to stay with the elder saying that he was indeed the monster of the prophecy, which again Ozone knew nothing about, nor did he even care. He never liked combat, and he especially din't like being pushed around by other people because he was so scared or scary. He was actually quite nice but nobody gave him a chance to show it. Even when he did everyone assumed it was a trick.

So for weeks he was forced to stay as a prisoner essentially until he decided it was time to win his freedom by challenging the "Hero of the prophecy." Unfortunately before he could ANOTHER dragon with a similar color scheme, but far more belligerent attitude showed up and torched many of the houses within the village. This large dragon DEMANDED to see the hero (who he called by name) to come to his lair at the top of a really tall mountain full of spires and spikes you name it and do battle. Ozone could only sit and watch as many houses burned. He broke his chains and ran into the houses to rescue any victims trapped inside. This is where he used his mind control powers for the first time. If the victim was trapped by the fire, he would simply take control of them and make them walk out to safety. Any injured he would get in and help them out the old fashioned way. He can control many victims at once and by the time he was done most everyone had been evacuated from the burning village and to safety. There were a few he never got to in time, but that's when the villagers started to think that maybe Ozone DIDN'T have anything to do with the prophecy.

"You?" said the village elder, "You're not the dragon we thought you were."
"No" said Ozone, "I told you as such multiple times. I was just an innocent bystander and you accused me of being a monster. I was tempted to burn the place down myself, but I'm not that kind of dragon.
"We can see that now, you saved many lives. Please forgive our foolishness."
"I do not hold a grudge against you for any reason. I know well that people like you aren't perfect. My name is Ozone, and if you require my services again, just call."

As for the prophecy, the legendary hero turned out to be the one who would TAME the dragon who made the challenge and the two would later become the saviors of the village from a much bigger threat. What that threat was Ozone didn't stick around long enough to find out. He's been wandering many worlds ever since, and each new world is a different experience. He make sure to do some research about any potential prophecies before he settles down whether past present or future. That being said while he certainly enjoys trying to figure out prophecies, he tries not to get directly involved and prefers to observe from a distance unless he is directly needed. It is for this reason that he'll often use his mind control powers in order to make someone else walk away from the danger before they got into trouble. To this day he can still often be found hopping from world to world, hearing news about it (prophecies or otherwise), and not getting involved if he doesn't want to. His dark coloring make it easy for him to blend in with the shadows and avoid detection.

ABILITIES
He has mind-control powers, but he prefers to use it to SAVE lives rather than have them be mindless puppets. Usually using this skill to walk a potential victim out of danger. He has also been known to do this when a person is too scared to do something on their own and needs something to get them in (like a spy infiltrating a sealed off area and such He essentially gives them the start, they have to do the rest.)
He is dark in color so he can blend in with shadows quite easily. He can even use his mind control powers to make someone who's seen him forget about him the moment they close their eyes. This way they believe that he was an illusion or a trick of the light and let it go. This doesn't always work, but it is helpful.

STRENGTHS
Ozone is smart, friendly, and doesn't wish to cause harm of any kind. He usually keeps to himself, but is more than willing to socialize if circumstances demand. He understands well that sometimes social contact is simply unavoidable, and when asked for help he will usually do his best to help whenever he can.
