Hello, I am Andrew Goodwin. Elijah took a day off and lent me his journal. Things have been mostly normal after what happened up at the quarry, and no services have been affected. The trucks were cut up for scrap and the blood was cleaned up. Nobody knows about this other than Sir Topham, the workmen who cleaned it up, and us. Thomas and I were taking a goods train to the goods station up Thomas' line. We were having some goods loaded into some vans on our train as Gordon thundered by with the express. A workman told us that Percy would be back from the works in a few days. Thomas rolled his eyes and sighed. "He's gonna be back again?" "Lord save me...". We all knew he was being sarcastic, and laughed at this. We set off a few minutes later. We were given a yellow signal a bit past Toryrek and proceeded to slow down. James was sitting with a local passenger train up ahead by some sidings. We rolled forward slowly to the sidings James was at. That's when we saw what happened. In the sidings, there were Annie and Clarabel, eyes scratched out, dead. Thomas was traumatized and James looked petrified. We quickly puffed off. Thomas was crying the whole way to the goods station and back to Tidmouth. When we got there, we puffed over to the sheds so Thomas could take a quick rest. We had another train in 10 minutes, but when it was time, Thomas refused to move. We left him there in silence for the rest of the day. That's two engines out of commission now.
