The day was simmering down, the crowd thinning as most go home after an exciting day of the starting year's Carnival of Life, though a few combatants still remain as some of the left over crowd want to see the events through. A new kukuri, Gabriel, fresh in this event his handler thought he would be good enough to stand toe to toe with another given what his wife does on the side training kukuris' to be battle ready. Funny however and embarrassing to see his own kukuri being out witted by quite a spunky opponent, Gabriel did give some good hits towards her but didn't expect to be confused at where she could be only to have a fast lass tackle leap right on his back, making the rook yip out of surprise. His handler, Alexis, could only facepalms and sigh...
"Guess its back to training with you when this is over..." He mumbled

Kicking off my end of this years CoL event collabing with pitting our kukuris, Gabriel vs Kalinda, against each other.~
HO BOY I thought this picture wouldn't get done fast enough cause not only was it a bit large but my laptop's being a little pain in my rear being slow so combined that with SAI having a hissy fit with me while I was cleaning my laptop I'm happy that in the end I got this done, and gone full blast having fun with this >:3
HTRuiz done a wonderful job at inking and coloring in the flats for this, came out so well to what I sketched out ;w;
