Inspiration hit me last night in the form of Kingdom Hearts 3. My partner and I are playing through it together and we’re planning to platinum it and all of its DLC. Personally, I love the game so much. It’s come so far from where it was before! The animation is so slick and doesn’t have as much of that grandiose “look at me I’m definitely an animator” appeal from the early 2000’s. I’m in love with the worlds and how giant they are, and how there are tiny details hidden in every corner. KH3 is also the darkest of the games I’ve seen so far. Sora takes a backseat in most of his adventures in this game (that I’ve seen so far) and he seems to be listening in on a lot of very heavy topics compared to earlier games.

I’ve heard the end sucks, so I’m prepared for that, but tbh, when has a beloved series ever actually had a good ending to it? :’)
