This is what a good 60% of my sketches start out as, a rough sketched start, then a blue bold line, then I’ll go in with a black liner and add in my more complex details, remove the red and blue, then about 8 to 25 layers (depending on the complexity of the art) of flat colour, shading, highlights and additional details.
