A young man out on the town for the night decides to hit on a woman he met at a club. She refuses him at first but after he pesters her a bit she agrees to take him upstairs to her apartment.

So, the Circe trope is an interesting one to me as its exact connotation through the ages has changed a bit. But for the most part she seems to represent empowered women and also courteous manners. Also my spelling for the title is a transliteration closer to the original Greek than "Circe" The ancient Greeks, as far as we know, didn't have a soft 'c' in their language and her name was spelled with a Kappa. So the Kirke spelling is closer to the original but carries little symbolic power in English because we've used the older transliteration for so long.
