Pretty sweet! Though in panel one, it didn't clearly state which one of the sparks was first.

It said that the younger one is Sideswipe, so Sunstreaker would have to be first. Hope that explains it

Not liking the idea that Skywarp, Thundercracker, and Starscream are triplets. What about all the other seekers? Ramjet, Thrust, Dirge, Acid-Storm, and all the other nameless seekers out there...

I like it, but I think I would have liked it more if the "triplets" in the story were Viewfinder, Spectro & Spyglass.

It was a nice concept... of putting the Autobot patriarch as the namer of the new generations.. but yes.. when I heard there was going to be some triplets I thought of the Decepticons that convert to a camera..
They are the only other ones appart from Sideswipe and Sunstreaker to be called "brothers"

Honestly, I just think this story feels contrived and without much point. I see Alpha Trion naming things with no sane reason behind it and then I see a very awkward and stiff transition, in both art and theme, to the final panel and idea. I just think this was a flop.

Don't like it. Sorry. I'll agree that the Alpha Trion bit is nice, but the Seekers are not triplets. They aren't even brothers. They're just comrades. Do you think of the coneheads as brothers? How about Prowl, Bluestreak and Smokescreen? Inferno and Grapple? Hoist and Trailbreaker? Ratchet and Ironhide?
Just because the toys shared the same mold didn't mean that they had to have some deeper connection.
In fact, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe are the only Autobots to be specifically described as brothers, and they are entirely seperate molds...

Animated G1 is the only continuity they've shown up in, besides the recent IDW comics "All Hail Megatron." But then, AHM panders to the cartoon nostalgia crowd, so of course they act just like the cartoons in there.

I never read War and Peace, and I forgot all about Spotlight Wheelie. They were in there as well, but as individuals.

Maybe it's just me but I strongly feel these characters have been literally crammed down out throats to death, I much prefer the characters that aren't used or talked about much. but meh, that's just me I suppose.

There's something about this piece... it has a vibe to it I can't quite put my finger on... It's rather quite charming seeing Alpha Trion ushering in new life, wondering what their fates will be. And the ending was executed quite well.

yeah but my point is: Why bother making a new set of twins when they already got a set to work with? Why bother making Sideswipe a vette when the autobots already have Tracks? Why make a mountain out of a molehill?

I'm hoping they'll at least mention Sunny in passing. Even if he's dead or something. It could actually be done well; maybe movieverse Siders fights because the 'cons killed his twin, and because of this he's cold yet protective towards Mudflap and Skids.
I dunno. It might be neat if they do it right.

it could all be a mislead and it might not be sides at all. Or he might not be sideswipe like G1 or even Armada. It remains to be seen. :3

Haha, true, true. I'm reserving judgement til I see it. After all, had I heard before seeing the first movie that Ironhide was going to be a big black truck who quoted Clint Eastwood, I would have been upset and anxious, but I ended up loving the character. Regardless of what they do to Siders, if he's even there, I look forward to it.
