Aw, the panel where Seaspray has his hands on Nessie's nose is so cute. At first Nessie looks annoyed, like "What are YOU doing in my lake??"
The title is also quite nifty.

thank you for the kind words about my artwork and its style being unique. i had not done a Seaspray mosaic before, but have done 4 previous TF:Mosaics -- 3 of which were for the first anniversary project, "the end of the beginning."
those 3 starred blurr, powerglide and ironhide, respectively.

so far, this seaspray one has come together the best
for me, as i'd had the most time to work on it and had
just been drawing more often by the time i tackled it.
that said, i am still quite proud of my previous mosaics.

Wouldn't say they'd go so far as to disect it(tried to keep the dialogue gender nuetral), but I needed a conflict and a quick resolution, so "Nessie Hunters" it was.
Anyways, Seaspray could have also been under the impression that Nessie was in danger, and feared what may happen should its existence be made public.

Well there would be plenty of obsevationists and preservists who would worry that Nessie is the last of her kind and put her under protection. Then there would be the hunter hunters but they'd have a heck of a hard time lipping by security.

Pff, "Suffering Seaweed." I love that line! Interesting artwork and story. I really like that first panel, where the name reveals some artwork underneath mimicking that famous picture. Who's idea was that, the artist's or the writer's?

thank you very much for the kind words regarding my artwork, everyone ! while i came up with the idea of paying homage to that famous nessie photo, the duke-of-luns and i were on the same wavelength about a lot of things. special thanks to him for writing such a winning script and hatching the whole story-idea to begin with !
