Here we are introduced to Sarah's parents, her little brother, and also to her ex-girlfriend Emily. My family is bigger and more complicated, divorced parents, and half siblings on both sides. For the comic I decided to keep it a bit simpler though.
We have a hint here of Sarah's college studies in Physics, you can see Penrose's "The Road to Reality" sitting right next to her phone. It's a very, very dense book, even for high level physicists. I haven't gone past the first couple pages.
