Description

This was supposed to just be a quick re-imagining of Marvel's Cyclops, but it got a little more involved than I anticipated.
I wanted to give Scott Summers a more sinister look, with clean, imposing lines and a darker color palette. Referring to the cyclopes of ancient Greek mythology, I replaced Cyclops' signature visor with a single red eye. I also included a pauldron with something of a "Golden Fleece" mantle on his left shoulder, and the gold adornments on his helmet are meant to recall a laurel wreath.
