Description
watchingNot much to say that the picture doesn't say for itself-
**notes
fin
I think this one is done- I want to add a few more things but for the most part i am pleased with the direction of the piece.
part 4
Well I am starting the highlights right now and still working through a few of the rough spots- i am generally pleased with the direction of this piece. Hope to have it done in the next few days
part 3
well the basic flats are all but done and now i am adding the shadows- I still have much to play with here. more to come
part 2
Still working on the flats
part 1
Here is part one to a lighter piece- Finished the inks today and started the flats- I like the direction and I am looking forward to knocking this one out soon. I have to start my next set of small prints for the arizona comic con. This will be one of them. I will only print a 100 of them and that is all.
It took 3 times to ink this which was quite frustrating- stupid guitar - As i kept working the guitar the characters ended up changing as well - the pencils now look like a jumbled mess
finished size 13x19
trav -more updates to come-

really beautiful so far, Trav The wood nymph looks a bit creepy though since she doesn't have any pupils (don't know if that's what you were going for. If not, I'm sure it'll get toned down after you finish rendering)

Lovely work, reminds me of P. Craig Russells work. Beautiful colouring too!
Take care, Aaron.

I'm starting on making drawings for a childrens book too, and your style is very interesting and I'm learning a lot from it.

I really like this one Trav, must calms the savage beast, or in this case the wood nymph. Nice theme you've got going here.

You only have a few colors on this, and it already looks amazing. I like the shade of green you have for the tree-girl. (I'm assuming her name is Eve if the title is a play on words... )
