happy :]I think I'm finally getting somewhere with backgrounds, so I'm happy to say I achieved this year's resolution.
I did quite a lot of studies this year, focusing on backgrounds mainly and that really helped me create full illustrations with backgrounds!
Unfortunately, I think references have become quite a crutch for me, because I've started feeling like I can't draw without them. Maybe as I'm growing older my imagination is just dying (haha I make myself sound so old!)
I've recently installed pureref so I think that should help with gather all the references and prevent myself from relying on 1 or 2 references.
Here's to another year! I want to create more symbolic artwork, or art that contains more symbolism.
I've been really inspired by some skeb artists so I would like the same for my art too.
