i have iot on a big gold frame which my friend found in a skip
had to sand and ment the frame and painted it gold
hmmmmm i think i will get round to adding gold leaf to the frame soon.....maybe today....hmmm

Very cool. I am impressed on the accuracy of the details in it. The symetry must have been very difficult. How large was the page you did it on? Great work

the actual piece is A3 and took ages to do
but i must admit i had to photocopy the main face and shrink it to fit the other heads that i wasnt too pleased with.....they were basic and 3 years after i did the original i had to change it.......
maybe im a cheater but hey its my image so i can mutate it eh?

Wow! Thats so beautiful! So many faces in there. Kinda freaky lookin, but thats what I like about that. Although, I wouldn't want to be looking at this at night. I'd be having hallucinations on every object having a face and I'd be going to sleep with nightmares... 
I know, I'm a wimp...

i worked on an off for a month getting the main fac right
then reworked it 3 years ago to make the four outside faces the same as the central one
have to admit i did us good old fashioned cut and paste with glue and sissors plus a photocopier to achieve the look
then reworked the black lines so it all tied in

Your ability and patience for patterns and design is inspiring. I like how the faces develope into the main face. I like the colors with the design, too. It looks like an ancient design.

i was kinda inspired by a face in a bob venosa book i was given which gave me the eyes and the mouth to work on.....i was also looking at alot of mayan stuff at the time..maybe thats the ancient connection.........i still have the original in a frame on my wall after 8 years and still dont get bored with it......it was the first doodle art i did

The piece has a lot of metaphysical overtones to it, the multi mask images gives a touch of Mayan flavor. This says a lot about your sense of dedication to your art: detail and well though out fields of form and space. Well done!

Taking the time to make good art is the signature of a great artist. there is a breaking point however, when the stuff comes out of you like sweat, or blood, but you feel it afterwards.

ahhh but what if you do it ...you have no reason why ya did it....then you have to explain it and you dont know why ya did it or what it meams eh?can you tell ive got to talk about my work at college tomorrow?why cant they accept it is as it is?and i do what i do as i have to?being a compulsive creative is a blessing but also a curse sometimes.....lol
