Don't mind the random girl. I drew that first on the page and had fun with her hair. Her feet are huge, though. Also, I make notes to myself sometimes, like watch this or that thing.

Sssssssoooooo I am going to go with this is pretty much how Nate went about asking Linneus out. "I'm pretty sure we should date." "....<3!"

Nathaniel James Hawkins-Day is the kind of guy that would fall for his best friend. And it doesn't exactly help that his best friend is an incubus. Before Nathaniel even met Linneus he was experiencing a bit of a sexuality crisis. He had thus far been attracted to girls, but dating was not really much of an option at the time; he had to take care of his twin sister and her emotional and mental baggage. He doesn't talk much, which leaves him with plenty of time to think about things, like who he is, and as such prefers to sort things out on his own. It may have taken a while but he figured some things out and realized that he really doesn't care that Linneus is a guy because he makes him happy (and it's nice to feel the adoration). The empathy, of course, was a part of it; the reason he would not date just anyone, guy or girl. He's been an empath his entire life and in his seventeen years he's learned to recognize superficial emotion and true feelings for what they are. That and he's sensitive to the way others feel, as in he is considerate. Ironically he is not very good at expressing himself.
