Cronos was a Titan, father of Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hera, Hestia, and Demeter. He was condemned by Zeus for devouring his own children because he feared their uprising. Yeah... sorry, I'm greek so I kinda get drawn in by questions like that xD
