Description
The Polaris-Class is a new deep space multi-use explorer in the 25th Century, performing many of the same duties as the Galaxy-Class. This ship is considerably larger than the Sovereign with more interior space. The Polaris has the ability to saucer separate, and includes a newly designed Ursae-Class captain's yacht.Related content

Very carefully. The Polaris is close to the Odessey (in size), but there are many differences that make the Polaris unique.

The (USS Onimaru) starship is Madkoifish's design. I admit I borrowed some elements from that ship.

When I look at this, I'm reminded of my days in STO.
I miss this game, but I don't feel confident enough to return. Besides, I would have a lot of thins to catch up on. (Is the Gamma quadrant finally open? Are the Xindis finally back as an enemy faction instead of simple duty officiers? Is the Ambassador class FINALLY out?)

Yes, it sort of is, but only in a few specific missions.
No, they're not. Unfortunately. The Suliban are back, though.
Yes! It is! In Commander and Rear Admiral Support Cruiser variants.
And there's lots of new stuff to do. I'm sure you'll like coming back.

The more I see of these ships, the more I say there were FAR superior choices for the Enterprise-F.

A Vesta Class meets Sovereign Class camel's hump with sort of an Intrepid class outline -- somewhat derivative but combined in a novel way -- pretty damn cool. The captain's yacht, however, is one awful Gene Roddenberry legacy...
This one was definitely worth putting out there despite the fact that so much of fandom just keeps cranking out one purely derivative "bigger" and "better" than what went before. If only more of those efforts were even half as good as this one!
