Very cool! Those Neca prototypes looked killer! I hope they decide to make him on the Harley at some point. I've always wanted to see that.
I didn't do the Terminator with Minigun piece, that was the great Ray Villafane!
Thanks man!

Da-dum dumda dum, da-dum dumda dum!
You really really did an amazing job capturing the 'Arnie is serious' squint.
From the little wrinkles on the bridge of his nose, to his eyelids... wow. And really cracking job on his bone structure, too.
I'm also reminded of several Jack Slater moments (from Last Action Hero)!
Stellar work, dude.

What kind of wax do you use???
Do you can post a tutorial from you works...
Do you begin in the wax or "plastiline" and before cast in wax??
Thanks and excellent work my friend!!

Hey Helder-
Thank you for all of your nice comments.
To answer your question, I mostly use TMS (Toxic Mom Studios) Wax made by Ralph Cordero. It's my favorite wax, though there are other great quality waxes out there.
For these small pieces, I tend to just start in the wax. If I was working larger, I would probably start with Plastiline or some other clay, but these pieces are so small that it's not necessary.
I'll try to put together a tutorial of some kind eventually. Here's one from master sculptor Andy Bergholtz, that will give you some great tips!

Thanks again!

I JUST saw the painted version of this, but I have to say the sculpt looks PHENOMINAL. Pardon me for gushing. It's not something I do often. Granted, I AM partial to Arnold-related material, but this is really just one impressive piece of work. Well done (and just for giggles, shoot me a note and tell me what you got paid for this job).

I luv your stuff, man. You are such an inspiration. Although the colours are nice, there's something about the unpainted pieces that has a timelessness to them.

how many pictures did u use as reference?

TrevorGrove In reply to tsunnamii [2008-09-26 19:34:21 +0000 UTC]
thanks!
I use TONS of photo reference. usually around 400-800 captures from the DVD and any and all publicity stills I can find around the net. The more reference the better.
