The plot. To have two sides inhabiting one body while maintaining a normal life. I know it's not much different from the game but, I think a lot of people can relate to those kind of feelings. Though not in a literal sense like Chara. A split personality or hidden persona can be hard at times. Also not many characters now in days can say that they have a other self inside them (literally) Plus I enjoy the ship. Glad you took your time with the build up to his confession.
