I have two questions:
1) so the medecine has had a very bad impact on both of Frsk and Chara because they are too much connected? Or it's just the fight between Chara and Sans that has created a internal mess for Frisk? Both?
2) Chara seems really protective now. I have the impression that Chara gives a hand to Sans, like a "show me that you love her", it's that? Like "I will not let Frisk being sad, so it's up to you Sans: both of us, or nothing!"

1) The medicine didn't directly cause Frisk's current breakdown, but it's one of the factors making she fall into self-doubt and it led to the current situation.
2) I won't say too much about this in order to prevent possible spoilers xD
But yeah, now Chara is challenging Sans with the ultimately contradictory scenario.
