Tommy Richardsen // Trichardsen // Facebook // 500px Β // Google+ // InstagramA really powerful aurora raging across the sky and forming a corona at the top.
This area is one of my favorite places in the region to shoot, really long beach with different rocks and stones, lots of mountain and a few rivers as well.

Most tourists never visit places like this, but it has sceneries you can compare to the likes of Lofoten, absolutely worth a visit.

Oh, I think that places avoided by tourists are actually amazing and worth visit, sometimes even more than some most visited by tourists... Also you avoid crowds and thus the picture is better too! You don't have to worry that someone will suddenly come and photobomb it

Many of the times I am out most people are asleep, pretty much all year round I shoot in the night, especially in northern Norway with the Aurora borealis and midnight sun.
I canΒ΄t deny that some of it is luck, but on the other hand I wouldnΒ΄t have that luck if I wasnΒ΄t out shooting.

Yeah I have a couple of images I waited 1 and 2 years to get, even though I really wanted to finish the image earlier it just lacked the right light for the scene, patience is important though it can certainly be frustrating.
That feeling when walking home after experiencing nature at its best and getting a great capture is ubeatable.
