When Arendelle was targetted by the Order of the Cold Iron, Elsa did try to maintain friendly negotiations. But when those failed, and her sister Anna was nearly assassinated by Order agents, Arendelle was transformed almost overnight into a battle-ready fortress, with her as its mighty Snow Queen. After much cajoling, she allowed the gates opened to those also hunted by the Order, many of whom put forth their gifts to her United Northern Guard.

What is the story of the mysterious captain? Some say he was a slave that made a pact with the dark powers for a monstrous ship that travels below the waves; some say he's a forsaken Indian prince. In any case, Nemo has fashioned himself into a lord of the world under the waves, and due to a recent tempest, found himself stranded for the time being in Norway. What is known is that long ago, Nemo foreswore any ties to the land - except, curiously enough, Arendelle. You didn't get this from me; but the presence of the lovely queen may have something to do with it...
