I almost forgot to upload this and I would have kicked myself so hard.

15 years ago today (Feb 12, 2009), I jumped headlong into making comics and posted the first two pages of Amaravati on Smack Jeeves. I still remember sitting in bed, unable to sleep, and grabbing my sketchbook to feverishly sketch the beginning of what would become my biggest project for many years. Zero planning, only inspiration. Unfortunately, after grinding to a halt twice and then having Smack Jeeves crumble underneath it, I set the project aside back in 2020 and at this point I'm not sure I'll go back to it. I think about it a lot, and I would certainly like to take one last crack at the story, but I have other things to focus on now, like Anger Ham , the ongoing Zelda AU series that has my brain in a chokehold, and my upcoming faerie tale adaptation series.

Amaravati was a huge learning experience for me and I'm glad I jumped into it, even though it turned out to be a bit of a mess. Looking back now is very bittersweet, emphasis on sweet. Onwards and upwards, and maybe one day I'll show you the end of the story.
