Love the composition of this. Great shot. I'm seeing just a hint of a green cast on my screen on the diver, the guys in the background, and the window.

I know its hard to tell without a side by side comparison...but I changed it. Any less cast?

Going towards the yellow side of the spectrum, with a touch of red. I look at color all the time for work, which is why I'm spotting this. Have you tried to edit each channel individually?

No, too lazy and bleary-eyed from last night. How's this one? Changed it again. I hate those guys in the background anyway...I should remove them.

The guys in the background don't bother me. They are not distracting from the main focus, but the color...I think before you do anything else, let me look at it from my computer at home. it'll be a couple of hours.

They bothered me...the one on the right told me I had to remove my shoes if I wanted to continue shooting poolside. I gave him a hard time but did as he requested but I think he brought in his "muscle" to put a hit on me

Both of them are wearing shoes. Yours must have had something distracting like bells and whistles attached.

OK, on my home computer, I'm still getting the yellow cast.

Exactly...well the one on the right had sneaker-things on...the other guy I have no clue...but it looks like shoes to me. I think he was security. I guess they didn't like Timberline boots or me...probably both

Dang...then my monitor may be off...shouldn't be though, I calibrate it. On my end I see a cast as well...not overbearing though. You see it as horrible? The lighting in that pool is so mixed, there is the main light of fluorescents, daylight from the side and tungsten from the lamps all reflecting off the water and off the skin of people...I should have used flash and blinded the divers and security and made a clean get-a-way

Do my other color photos look "casty" too?

No, the others look great. Just this one looks wonkey. Her skin looks like she has jaundice. I believe it's the lighting in the pool doing it. You need to have them install proper lighting next time.

Ahhh then OK...I was worried that this monitor was messed up...thanks for your help, Steve.

jaundice...maybe she did...I was wondering why my feet are now "Homer Yellow"

Thank you Steve. That is from the fluorescent lights. I tried to white balance this but it either goes too green or too blue, red etc. I will try uploading a newer version if I can tweak it enough...I don't like green casts...they look sickly as opposed to red or blue casts. Thanks for pointing it out to me Steve...although "on my screen it don't look too green." I'm a poet, I know it...hope I don't blow it. (like the Yanks)

looked like the Wankees last night. They'll pull it out in game 2. I have faith.

nice shot, did you catch the entry? half-way in/out?

Ho Hondo...yes I did...one like that and one just before that just as the hands broke the surface of the water. For some reason I liked this one better. But now I'm not so sure. You made me wonder.

sorry, i was just curious. sometimes the body parting the water makes for a good shot. this one is very nice.

Hondo...don't be sorry at all. I like people's opinions. Like those who write should never edit their work...leave that to editors (those that can't write ) photographers also need editors
