Description
I'm kind of mad the tattoo artist altered my sketch when she transferred it to my skin. She didn't return my sketch either. I spent about an hour working on the sketch, so I wasn't very attached to it anyway. But, still. If she thought she was hiding it from me then she was wrong.2018 was my most unluckiest year ever: I got accepted to MSU but couldn't go, my sister got into a car accident, my stepdad had a heart attack, my uncle had chest pains and needed to go to the hospital before new years ( he's still in pain), my dog was taken to the animal shelter and I had to pay a large fee to get him out, & so many other things happened.
There's a lot of symbolism in fish, but I got it for luck. That's also why I chose the 3 star dragonball instead of Goku's favored 4 star. 3 is a lucky number. 4 is unlucky.
My mom hugged me when I came back from the tattoo parlor with my sister and cousin. She was very emotional. All my life I had been a big baby when it came to needles, and no one expected I would ever get a tattoo. "Wow, your first tattoo! You're growing up," she said, and my brother texted me the same thing.
My sister secretly recorded me while i was getting my tattoo, and there was a strange man standing over the tattoo artist and watching me get my tattoo. After an uncomfortable amount of time passed, he walked away, and the tattoo artist stopped what she was doing and said," That guy was creeping me out." He wasn't her friend or coworker like we thought! He was just some random guy! ( This parlor is right next to a bar so...maybe he was with the guys getting hotdogs and pickle tattoos, or maybe not)
My cousin held my hand in case the pain got too unbearable. The fish tail was the most painful spot and i squeezed her hand a few times but I didn't cry!
It took 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish.
What a way to start off the new year
note: this was an impulsive decision. I literally just said," I think I'll get a tattoo." and the next day got one. I don't regret it... yet.
