I liked the Zero series. The art was simple and the writing was so dark. About the only real problem I did have with the series was the fact that pretty much every character was based off the same model (but then again being robots based off of a specific model I cna see why it was done).
And it doesn't have kid buddies like ZX!!! I swear the planning of that game was like "Hey, lets take the awesomeness of the Zero series and the crappiness of Battle Network and mix them together!" and somebody said "Ok!"

nicely done. mmz happens to be one of my favorite games. the first one that is. the second one was ok, but the others didnt really catch my interest. i should prolly finish them though.
