Description
Pasadena-D - Rosemead Terminals areaKnown somewhat jokingly as the "Rosemead Terminals Area" on Pasadena-D due to the close proximity of the Rosemead Station for the MTA LA/San Bernadino Line, the MTA's main western San Gabriel Valley bus depot, and the small Pasadena/Rosemead airport. The area is mostly residential with some local commercial, a little light industrial, and a fair amount of flood plain for the rivers that come together here and to the south. Surrounded by suburbs, orchards, and dairy farms, the San Gabriel Regional Airport is the primary airport for most of the San Gabriel Valley. Built on the banks of the Rio Hondo River channel in western El Monte, the airport serves both public and commercial flights from its three runways.
Updated 20220707 to include a lot more of the surrounding area, topography, and general map improvements.
