Description BYAKUYA!!!! I really hope you all like this piece. It was created in Photoshop from start to finish. I did the lines (which is probably why it doesn't look too great ) and colorz (Cel-Shaded again). There was a reference from the Anime/Manga. I think it came out fairly decent. Still working on many many things. Please stay tuned for some more.

I notice you don't color background, at least it seem because majority of your background picture(s) are usually clouds or gradient. your colors are good and I would like for you to expand with the rest of the portrait that have backgrounds.

Nah, I don't color the backgrounds too much. No trees or grass or anything. It's not that I can't do it, it's just that sometimes I think it'll take away from the main part of the pic. I do see your point though. I will endeavor to make a more "complete" piece in the near future. Thank you very much for your comment. It's much appreciated!

I did both this time around. I used to draw ALOT a few years ago (before I joined here). I just got waaaay out of the habit. I'm going to keep practicing here and there. I'll be using alot of references before I try and do something totally original. It'll come though, no doubt about that Thanks so much for your comment

The lines were all done in Photoshop. I did use some Anime/Manga references (mostly anime). I am unable to take screenshots with my media player so I bounced between that and photoshop. I pulled some manga pages out to get the expression just right. I physically made the lines with a Wacom tablet and pen and drew them up kinda sketchy, then went back and used the Pen Tool in PS to crispen them up. I'm glad you like this one. Please keep an eye out for more

I've been trying to figure out which is the best way to create good outlines .. thanks alot for the info! :hugs:

btw~ if you want to take screenshots of the anime, I recommend VLC media player. (google : VLC / Video Lan) .. its a great player ..plays alot of different formats like .avi, .mkv, .flv etc, and u can snapshot where you pause your video ^^
