Description
Hollow black pine, burnt, rests in place,Appearing undamaged it holds form perfectly.
Ever-fixed mark I will prance to when I please.
We will prise apart misunderstanding and explore.
And reserve the memories in our joined hands,
Fossilised between flesh.
A gust or whistle may shift loose grains,
Vastly unchanged I am unable to revoke it.
I am allowed at last to see progression in all things,
So long as all remains obtainable, touchable.
My desires motivate, eventually I bless myself,
Holding the valueless cinders in my swollen hands.
The moment is extended out of greed and lust,
I figure this cradling is what you have wanted.
It splinters and twists till ash and fragment remains.
It looks a mess on the carpet,
Stains the upholstery.
I hope it will come to be beautiful.
