Description
COPYRIGHT LIFTED FOR TO USE IN THEIR PROJECTSTwo more fakemon to be featured in Alpha / Omega, this time straight-up water types. The stage one evo is featured in my sketch dump and was originally gonna be an egg adoptable, but I couldn't part with the little guy! Now he finally has a name, evolution and a proper feature in my gallery
Anyways, these two are based on guppies and bass fish. Bass are commonly associated with the sport of fishing, and so I combined a lure idea in the design; I know this concept has been used a few times before, but as far as I'm aware, the design has never been incorporated into the fish's tongue. They also have a new ability:
If an opponent uses a physical attack on this Pokemon will have their speed decreased by one level.
I hope you like them
------------
Derivation: Guppy & Apathy
Abilities: Flat Trap, Swift Swim (Hidden: Adaptibility)
Classification: Lazy Fish Pokemon
Always looking sullen and uninterested, Guppathy move little and generally sit around on the bottom of the sea floor and wait for prey to come to them before showing any sign of movement. They stay so still that they are sometimes mistaken for part of the scenary or a carcass, and when curious prey wander by Guppathy will open their deceptively large mouths. This causes a short-range suction vortex that smaller creatures can't escape.
------------
Derivation: Gobble & Lure
Abilities: Flat Trap, Swift Swim (Hidden: Adaptibility)
Classification: Vacuum Fish Pokemon
A much more active hunter than Guppathy, Gobblure are also larger and capable of swallowing much bigger prey. Their most unusual feature is their tongue, which is brightly coloured and wiggled like a lure to attract hungry predators. Once Gobblure open their mouths, the vacuum produced is almost impossible to fight against.
Possible moves: Bubble, Brine, Muddy Water, Mud Sport, Round, Surf, Acid, and Hydro Pump, Leer, Glare, Taunt

I know, right?
Though I want to finish all the ones that I have planned evos for, so that includes magmutt, the turtle kappa geyser one and a couple of others. The radioactive bug has been a design i've had in my head for aaaages so I'm looking forward to finishing its final evo

You can have it.~ Just credit me, boo.
I was thinking it should have three parts that have different personalities, like a Dodrio. That's as far as I've ever gotten design wise.

Well, I can say the lure sure fooled me, I thought it was another fish sticking out from his mouth. But it was his tongue...

Thank you I wanted to do a fishing lure style, and I kinda got the idea from an icky fish parasite. I turned it into a lure instead though
