Description
I made this flannel quilt for a child's gift. I started it at the end of June for two-year-old Rachel but a heatwave here in the Northeast slowed my work to a crawl. Her birthday came and passed on the 11th and I told her mom I would mail it as soon as I could, but that the heat was slowing my work. Flannel is definitely warm in your lap when you're sewing the binding.
I finished it 10 days after Rachel turned 2, and mailed it out the next day.
