Description
Griphendor are a land to the North East of Equestria inhabited by the Griphons. Related to Griffions but being of Hawk and lion and of less self centerdness than their Equestrian counterparts.
This mainly came from a need of united defence as the Region is harrassed by Mutant like beasts attacking villages as the old Citystates fought with one another they slowly started to unify. Until Chaul the great defeated a mutant army lead by Graybu Darkseer in a battle near modern day Siegdorf. Ever since then the Empire have stood united against all threats both outside and inside the Borders of the Empire.

Some Locations of note
Siegdorf: Where Ghaul defeated Graybu a City build upon the very field today its the Capital and home of the Imperial Chaul family. The city houses the Imperial collages of engineering and war school to allow for the training of officers and gunners.
Waldenhof: build upon a lonely mountian surrounded by forest Waldenhof is the home of the Huntsmarshall whos job is to hunt down monsters in the Empire. Waldenhof is also home of the Waldruthen said to be the first tree planted.
Vulcandorf: Vulcan dorf is a two part city on the East and West bank of the Vulcan river. Named after Vulcan thunderclaw a hero of the Empire who saved it from total collapse the city is one of the most well defended cities
in the Empire.
Furtburg: The Skyport city and home of the original collage of engineers. The City is well known for its airships used by the Empire for mainly supply but also exsploreation and one day colonialsation of foreign lands.
Nurden: The Forge city its where most of the Empires weapons,armor,guns and artillery is made. The city is build upon a semi active vulcano where some of the best steel is produced by master crafts birds and turned
into weapons of war by blacksmiths.

Noteble characters:
Emperor Siegsmund 3rd: Current ruling Emperor he took the throne from hes father Fredwigs 30 years ago. And have ruled the Empire fairly well. A bird of Knowlage and exsploration under hes rule many new technologies have been brought from the Engineers school.
Prince Ladenwig 1st of Nurden: Hunter and gun lover. Hes well known shrap shooter often taking part in battles by killing big monsters of mutant war bosses or champions. Hes heated by the mutants so mutch some like Arug black jaw wants nothing more than the death of Ladenwig.
Countess Esselmba of Ultenbech: Exspert politican and younger sister of Siegsmund. Shes well known for her cunning manageing to look like a weak minded bird in person but behind the scenes have thrown out most of hes opponents.

Spices
Demi Griphs: Large but wingless these are the main part of the Griphs. Well known to be hardy and very cooprative they have forged ahead in the ages of glory and defeat for the Empire.
Griphs: Smaller and winged its they who do most of the construction useing their ability to fly to make construction easier.
Imperial Griphs: Often in rulling classes these are large as Demi Griphs but winged and have the ability to fly. Often with black markings they stand out as the apex birds of pray.
