I know this happens in all forms of art, but it's something I wanted to get off my chest after looking through my old stuff.Related content

guess, it's only by luck I guess

I know right. I noticed quite a bit recently. (I haven't been on that much)
It's pretty much what I see on half the art on PaigeeWorld as well.

yep, pretty much, not exactly very motivating to put effort making quality work.
but even if the comments/faves are a bit lacking it doesn't mean people didn't like it.
maybe quick things are just easier and take less thought to comment on.

I guess that's just how it goes. With something high-quality and professional, people tend to just look at it and go "Huh. Cool." without giving it a second look, and things that are more average and dumb are what people are more likely to relate to, so they're more likely to have something to say about it.
Oh well. What're ya gonna do?

It's how dA seems to go really
It's just like how new/more recent/lesser known deviants really don't have a lot of attention even when they deserve it
I mean i am fine with what i got but some people really do deserve more
I was stunned to see that some of the people i watch that i would've expected have a following barely do

I recently posted a walfas journal with the EXACT SAME MESSAGE.
Of course, nobody read it. And everyone replied to a randomly generated character.
