When I was 17, I thought I use to have all the time in the world. I got up early, went to school, did my homework, studied for my HSC test, and still had plenty of time to play. Had the energy too, back then I could pump out three short stories a week and finish a 40+ hour game in one or two days. Nowadays I gotta juggle one and throw out the rest just to make ends meet. Ah... the joys of adulthood, right guys?

Well moving past that, I suppose most of us can agree that this year has for most, been an uneventful one. Not that I'm complaining about it, these things are a natural part of life and sometimes a little peace and quiet can help one focus a bit more. So what's the skinny for this year. Let's see... 92 new deviations and 31 new membership, not too shabby for a quiet year. Thank you all who took the time and effort to contribute to the FanClub.

Aside from the neat commission works Tammy's been putting up this year, RossxSaria is now official with the conclusion of Once Upon a Dream. Many Happy Returns also brings up a few other things from past works, but I'll let you look into that yourselves. The Ice Climber twins has also been toughing it out with their whole mess. Ah, that comic series sure brings out some nostalgic memories. That and I don't understand why I always remember the part about going up against that freaking Yoshi horde. The Cafe Cardamari Tales has also been branching out to cover the other team members beside Whinter and Clementine. So far we're up to Team Toxink so it'll be curious to see how they fit in with everyone else.

What else can say to sum up this year. Well, like I said earlier, things have been relatively quiet around here and there. Very much so now that I think about it. 2016 sure was buzzing with nonstop activities, not only in outside world but also here in dA. I could vividly remember every month one of the RP clubs I follow were posting out some kind of activity for all its members. Compared to back then, you can almost imagine the tumbleweed skipping around the place right now. Huh? Guess it's one of those days.

Outside of that, it's business as usual for everything else. Can't remember much about world event. America's still standing despite what everybody said last year. Got some hubbub down in the Philippines. Spain did some protest I think. And recently were some issues concerning who owns Jerusalem. There was also something up with Tumblr users about Net Neutrality this year but unfortunately for us living in the Land Down Under, all we ever hear is white noise. Yep, if you're reading this in the future, this is considered normal, minus the insane guy sitting at the dinner table while his house is on fire.

Film industry's been doing alright. This year we got ourselves a bunch of adaptations and new additions such as Beauty and the Beast, Fast and Furious 8, Despicable Me 3, Spider-Man Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Thor Ragnarok, Star Wars The Last Jedi, Wonder Woman and Pirates of the Caribbean 5. Games are a similar deal with Zelda's Breath of the Wild, PUBG, Wolfenstein New Colossus, COD WWII, ME Andromeda, The Evil Within 2, Battlefront 2, Life is Strange 2 and Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon to name a few.

Well, that's pretty much it for me. Thank you for the time you've put into your comic series, Jenna. Reading them has always been a nice pastime. As for everyone else, I'll see you all again next year. Here's a totem pole in the meantime. Wish you all a Happy New Year.
