Last school year I took Mi'kmaq Studies and for one of our projects, we had to do an art piece representing our spirit guide. Our spirit guides are basically spirits of animals that guide us in life. I believe my spirit animal is a wolf or husky. My favorite game growing up (and even now) is called Okami, which is about a Wolf God sent to rid the earth of demons. Amaterasu (The main character) always made me think of my dog Biscuit (malamute mix breed). She just had the same goofy personality, but was wise and graceful.

On June 12, My dog Biscuit died. I believe her spirit is still with me, guiding me. It has been more difficult than I could have ever imagined, but I know she is still there... always.
