I'm from Argentina so I speak spanish. And sometimes some people leave me messages and I can't reply them because I can't understand what they say. And the problem is not my bad english, the problem is that they speak some invented language even when some of them are from English-speaking countries.So, if the most used language is the english, PLEASE speak/write it well and we will understand each other.

Hahaha, I mean, it's weird that you can write properly in spanish but you can't use properly el and la. Because I think that is a part of the basics about spanish. But what I tried to say was that I don't think that distinguishing the differences between the articles is that important if you understand everything else. because with practice you can learn it.

english isn't my native language and i tend to write very proper english. i don't know why many english speakers can't show the same respect to everyone else. speaking is one thing, i speak VERY differently than i write most of the time. but when you write you are supposed to use words that make your meaning clear and understandable, or else whats the point?

Yeah, I know speaking is another thing, but I think people shouldn't speak like they are tarzans, or monkeys.
Either way, they should respect their language and if they are trying to communicate with others then express themselves properly, don't you think?

oh of course. its always about getting the point across. be it speaking or writing that is the goal. so it only makes sense to put in the effort to make that happen. and sometimes you need to change your ways a bit to be understood and so you do it. but there is no reason not to write properly if you want to be understood.

oh yes, i used to have same problem. But now i have mastered the chat speak, so i can understand non-proper english too XD
