Here is one of HeroBot's trickiest opponent yet. Volt Bot is capable of manipulating electrical currents and can absorb/release electric energy in bolts of lightning. He can also travel through electric waves, making it hard to find and catch him. He started out small with things like draining car batteries, tampering with people's electronics, but soon he got into big stuff like messing with the jumbotrons and bringing cars to life to attack people. HeroBot saw that the further he spread his control across the city, the less control he had over himself, so he used that to his advantage. HeroBot had himself coated in a layered of insulated plastic to keep his onboard systems from being overloaded. He was able to trick Volt Bot into connecting into the new satellite system which overwhelmed him and left him temporarily crazy. HeroBot was able to reformat him and get him back to the lab for repair before he blew another fuse. After his repair cycle, Volt Bot, now known as Zapper was given a chance to fix what he had done. He was given a job at the cities electric plant, using his powers to safely maintain the plant and optimize its power output without overloading it. He also helps with jobs like downed powerlines and maintaining lightning rods to avoid severe damage from thunderstorms.
