Description
Here are some artifacts from legendary mortals of the Frozen North. Although not as impressive as the weapons, these artifacts hold great stories about the realm. They are as follows:Sprinting Boots of Kormak: Although not a warrior, he was a kind person, who traveled the realm and helped those in need. For his generosity, a dwarf craftsman gifted him an enchanted pair of boots. When he wore them, he felt a surge of power flow through him and then he became the fastest mortal ever known. Anyone who wore his boots, would be able to skate on rough seas, outpace the wind and even walk on lightning.
Elven Dagger of Ulfar: All elves are bestowed a special dagger on their first adulthood birthday, its what allows them to unlock portals and travel the realms. Ulfar used his dagger for many things from travelling and mapping all the realms to steal dangerous artifacts and magic away from the wrong hands. Before he lost his dagger in a portal, he stashed away all his maps and treasures and only his dagger could show and unlock where he hid them.
War Horn of Broddi: Humble and noble, he was the second in command to a great chieftain. During one battle, he took a devastating blow for his chief and mustered enough strength to get back up and save his chief. Before he passed, he requested his body remain standing, having the will to die on his feet rather than fall on his back. For this, the gods offered him pity and granted him a place among them as sacred watchman of the realms. He was given a special horn, that allowed him to summon portals to wherever anyone needed to be.
Battle Helmet of Agmundr: He was a brave and mighty warrior, but he was also brash and careless, diving in head first into battle. His family worried for him so requested the aid of the gods and they answered. They gifted him an enchanted helmet with mystic inscriptions engraved on the inside. If he properly says the name of the inscriptions, he can activate magic powers like self-levitation, concussive sonic blasts and "human cannonball" attacks.
Magic Harp of Ingunn: She was a beautiful and talented singer/musician who played her harp with such beauty that savage beasts could be lulled to sleep, entire armies would be subdued and even impressed the god of music. As a show of admiration, she was given a beautiful new harp who's music was so beautiful that it made the forests dance and tamed the seas.
Golden Armband of King Johan: This armband was fashioned for the king of the gods and has the special ability to self-replicate itself, making 12 more identical rings every 30 days. When this band was duplicated to increase a mortal's wealth, the king of the gods commissioned it cursed with greed and desire. Any who wore it would be consumed by greed, wanting everything that could be owned. One individual met a more gruesome fate when they were turned into a ferocious beast and slain by their own sibling.
Iolite Glasses of Haklang: When the sage scaled a great mountain in his youth, he found a stone that resembled a face with blue gems for eyes. When he looked through the gems, he saw reflections of the future to come. So, he has them fashioned into a pair of lenses and became the most sought after soothsayer in the realm. So precious was his gift, that the gods granted him immortality, but at the price of being infused to the mountain stone where he found the gems.
Storboddel, Longship of the Fallen: This vessel was crafted by the forge deity himself, as a means of transporting his greatest warriors, mortal and deity alike, into the greatest battle, the Battle of World's End. In the event of total destruction of the realms, this ship would be filled with great warriors, powerful weapons and fearsome beasts to fight off against the ultimate evil. However, that day is yet to come and so the ship remains floating across the heavens, waiting to be called into action.
Crafting Hammer of Toki: A dwarf and master forger blacksmith. He has carefully crafted some of the greatest artifacts and weapons this realm has ever or will ever know of. With his hammer, he could craft anything out of anything, including the unbreakable restraints that hold Skarptann the bear imprisoned until his release.
